Obituary - Dorothy L (Withers) Barnes
Dorothy W. Barnes, age 92, of Blountville, TN passed away on Monday, July
2, 2012 at Cambridge House.
She was devoted homemaker and mother.
She was born to the late E.C. Withers and Garnet Fleenor Withers and was
preceded in death by her husband, James A. Barnes and sister; Nell Withers
Marshall.
She is survived by her two sons: James E. Barnes and wife, Jan of
Sevierville, TN and Joseph Michael (Mike) Barnes of Abingdon, VA ;
Sister-in-law, Zetta Barnes of Blountville, TN; Grandchildren and
Great-Grandchildren, Jamey, Chris, Joey, Zachary, Regina, Carol, Bernie,
Gillian, Lauren, Aidan, Afton and Tyne. She is also survived by many nieces
and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National M.S. Society, 214
Over look Circle, Suite 153, Brentwood, TN 37027
There will be a visitation 3:00 P.M. – 4:45 P.M., Thursday, July 5, 2012 at
Blountville United Methodist Church, Hwy 126, Blountville, TN. Committal
service and burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Rev.
Charles Ensminger officiating
