Edith Leona Litton, 95, gained her angel wings to Heaven on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Benhams, VA on February 16, 1923, a daughter of the late Walter and Farrah Sproles Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Litton; brothers, Paul and Harold Clark; and a sister, Virginia Goodman.

She was a life long resident of Bristol, TN and attended Fellowship Chapel in Bristol, VA. She had worked at JC Penney and Sears. Her hobbies included cooking, eating out, traveling, and shopping. 

Edith is survived by her sons, Gene Litton and wife Jane and Rick Litton and wife Sheila; daughter, Ginger Litton; sisters, Marie Meadows and Martha Helbert; sister-in-law, Janie Clark; four grandchildren, Cindy Murray and husband James, Michael Litton and wife Bella, Ashley Heine and husband Garrett, and Stephen Litton; four great grandchildren, Brookly Younce, Lauren Younce, and Eshan and Tyan Litton; and one great great grandchild, Evie Raye Price. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Cambridge House for their assistance and kindness.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, 417 Lee St., Bristol, VA. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Scott Price officiating. The Committal Service and Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Bristol, TN. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
