Obituary - Edward Russell Reedy

Edward Russell Reedy Edward Russell Reedy, age 89, passed away March 6, 2010. He is a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and of the Freewill Baptist faith, World War II veteran and member of UMWA and Mountain People and Places. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith (Sproles) Reedy; four brothers, Ivan, Emerson, Ralph, and Harold; and six sisters, Beryl Anderson, Vadna Grossi, Stella Thomas, Mary Marshall, Martha,and Versie Lowery. one son, Dennis (Diana) Reedy, Haysi, Va.; sisters, Leona Beck of Evansville, Ind., Ruth "Covey" Kiser of Bristol Virginia. Pallbearers will be Wayne Jackson, Greg Koch, Ralph Sutherland. Family will receive freinds on Monday, March 8, 2010, at 6 p.m., with song service at 7 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow to Temple Hill Cemetery, Castlewood, Va. Mullins Funeral Home and staff are serving the Reedy family.
