ARLINGTON - Elizabeth Lee Hobbs Filley, a homemaker, died Thursday at an Arlington hospital. She was 73.
 
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Powhattan Cemetery in Powhattan, Kan. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Arlington Funeral Home and from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Franke-Casselman-Meek Funeral Home in Hiawatha, Kan.
 
Mrs. Filley was born in Powhattan and had lived in Arlington since 1954.
 
She received a bachelor of arts degree in education from Emporia State College.
 
Her husband, Elmer Filley, died in January 1992.
 
Survivors: Two sons, Ernest Filley of Arlington and Warner Filley of Fort Worth; daughter, Elaine Watson of Humboldt, Tenn.; three sisters, Ann Corley of Gladstone, Mo., Edith Johnson of Powhattan and Ruth Bates of Tularosa, N.M.; three brothers, Ray Hobbs of Powhattan, Clyde Hobbs of Hood River, Ore., and Paul Hobbs of Kansas City, Mo.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth Lee Hobbs Filley, 72, Arlington, Texas, formerly of Kansas, died Feb. 17, 1994, at a hospital in Arlington. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Powhattan (Kan.) Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Framke-Casselman-Meek Chapel, Hiawatha, Kan. Mrs. Filley was born in Powhattan and moved to Arlington in 1954. She attended the Arlington Baptist Temple. Her husband, Elmer Filley, died in 1992. Survivors include two sons , Ernest Filley, Arlington, and Warner Filley, Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Elaine Watson, Humboldt, Kan.; three brothers, Ray Hobbs, Powhattan, Clyde Hobbs, Hood River, Ore., and Paul Hobbs, Kansas City; three sisters, Ann Corley, Gladstone, Edith Johnson, Powhattan, and Ruth Bates, Tularosa, N.M.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
