Mrs Elma Campbell dies at age 83
Mrs Elma Rose (Culver) Campbell,83, of Long Island, died  today at the home of her son, George.
She was married to John F Campbell on Feb.14,1898 at Whiterock , Ks and to this union were born 12 children, 8 boys and 4 girls.
the children surviving are ; guy D of  Almena, Earl of Lawrence, FernRice of Concordia, Roy of Holly, colo, Bertha Modrell of McCook, william of Prarie View, Everett of Salem, Ore; George of Long Island, Golda Altman of Denver,Verda Arleson of McCook and John of McCook.
Proceeding her in death were her husband, who died Jan4, 1928, and one son Cecil of Sacramento, Ca, who died July 6, 1962.
She was a long time resident of Norton county having moved here with her husbhan and family to a farm northwest of Almena in 1905. In 1916, they moved  south of Almena  where she lived until moving to Almena. She was later cared for in the home of her son, George and wife Genola Campbell, near Long Island.
She is also survived by one sister, Mrs Viola Jones of Esbon, 29 grandchildren,29 great- grandchildren and many neices and nephews.
