Ethel Nadine <i>Richison</i> Trout

Ethel Nadine Trout, 88, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2010, in Springfield.


Ethel Nadine Trout was born December 12, 1921 in Houston, Missouri to James and Maudi Richison. She went to be in the loving arms of our Lord October 5, 2010 in Springfield, Missouri.

She married Charles W. Trout July 2, 1937 and to this union, five children were born. Charles and Ethel left Missouri in 1947 bound for California. Charles worked in the oilfields while Ethel was busy being the best housewife, Mom and cook in Kern county. They retired in 1983 and moved to Edgar Springs, Missouri to spend their golden years.

Ethel was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles; her parents; and her brother, Eugene Richison.

She is survived by her five children, Shirley Miller and her husband, Bob of Licking, Missouri; Sylvia Caraway and her husband, Bob of Licking, Missouri; James Trout of Taft, California; Martha Robbins and her husband, Don of Derby Acres, California and Rick Trout of Taft, California; her sisters, Opal Blair of Taft, California; Mandy and Elmer Harlan of Taft, California and Mary Edgar of Overland, Missouri; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Fox Chapel with Bro. Fred Hamilton officiating. Interment will be in Trout Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Donnie Trout, Roger Trout, Robbie Miller, Marshall Miller, Dennis Caraway, and Marcelino Mareno. Honorary pallbearers are Brent Ullom and Ethan Ullom.
