Etta Mae Necessary BRISTOL, Va. Etta Mae Necessary, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, in the Wellmont Hospice House. She was born Aug. 25, 1927, in Washington County, Va., a daughter of the late Cleve and Larena Clark Booher, and she lived all of her life in the Bristol area.

She was a member of Shiloh Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Necessary was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Carmel Necessary; brothers, Bill Booher and Charlie Baker; and sister, Beatrice Laws.

She is survived by children, Johnny Necessary and wife Dianna, Martha Ann "Susie" Doyle; adopted son, J.R. Necessary and wife Connie; three grandchildren, Eric Doyle, Crystle and Megan Necessary; one great-grandchild, Skyler Doyle; brother, Fred Baker; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Donald White officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Thursday from 6 to 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home. The burial will be 11 a.m. Friday in Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Weaver Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.  Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
