Eula Clark Dougherty
November 7, 1932 - May 21, 2015
Eula Clark Dougherty, 82, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at the
Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born on November 7, 1932 in Sullivan
County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Henry Berry Clark and Maggie
Jane Moore Clark. Mrs. Dougherty was a retired hairdresser and homemaker.
She was a member of Hulls Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her
parents, Mrs. Dougherty was preceded in death by her husband, Charles
Clifton Dougherty; three brothers, Earl Clark, Herbert Clark and Curtis
Clark.
Survivors include her children, Charles Dougherty and wife Linda, Sherry
Emmert and husband Lawrence and Gray Dougherty and wife Sherry; four
grandchildren, Nathan Emmert and wife Christian, Evan Emmert and wife Laura,
Maggie Coleman and husband Anthony and Lea Dougherty; two great
grandchildren, Henry and Lucy Emmert; and several nieces.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Eula Clark Dougherty will be held Sunday, May 24,
2015 at 2:00pm at Hulls Chapel United Methodist Church, 3453 Devault Bridge
Road, Blountville, TN with Pastor Billy Byrd officiating. Entombment will
follow at East Tennessee Memory Gardens in Blountville, TN. Pallbearers will
be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
sent to Hulls Chapel United Methodist Church, 3453 Devault Bridge Road,
Blountville, TN 37617. East Lawn Funeral Home, 4997 Memorial Blvd,
Kingsport, TN 37664; is honored to be serving the Dougherty family.
