Everett Kim Engleking, 47, Lee's Summit, MO, passed away September 30, 2002. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 3, at Hinton-Gibson Funeral Home, Raytown, MO. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Engleking Children Educational Fund, c/o 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133.

Mr. Engleking was born September 30, 1955 in Bartlesville, OK. He graduated from Southwestern College, Winfield, KS; attended St. Paul's School of Theology, Kansas City, MO and the University of Dubuque. He was a member of the New Day Consort and served in ministry for many years with churches in Kansas, Iowa, and Missouri. He taught instrumental music for many years, specializing in guitar. He taught English in South Korea for 31/2 years. He was an ordained deacon in the communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches. Kim was best known for his laughter, commitment to Liturgy, counseling ministry to those in crisis and his skills as an accomplished musician.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresita Presley and niece, Sara Ramey. He is survived by wife, Peggy Engleking; sons, Nathan Wood, Jess Engleking, Jon Engleking; daughter, Anna Grace Engleking; parents, Gene and Ruth Engleking; brother, John Engleking; sisters, Gena Smith and Lonya Engleking; many friends and loved ones.
