Obituary - Everett N Gossett
BRIDGEPORT, Ill. — Everett N. Gossett, 81, Bridgeport, died Tuesday,
Sept. 20, 2011.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Bridgeport, and a truck driver for Girton Brothers of Lawrenceville for 26 years.
Surviving are his wife, Bernice (Walls) Gossett; a son, Richard Gossett; one step-son, Steve Gossett; one brother, William Gossett; one sister, Susie Mae (Gossett) McCrocklin; one grandson, Bennett Vinson; two granddaughters, Kimberly Gossett and Alicia Gossett; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. CDT Saturday at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. CDT until the hour of service. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Claremont. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence County Senior Citizens.
