Obituary - Georgia Jean (Hadley) Foster
Georgia Jean (Hadley) Foster, daughter of Lawrence and Dortha (Lawson)
Hadley was born May 21, 1935 at Hazleton, Mo. and departed this life October
4, 1978 at the Fitzsimons Army Hospital in Denver, Colorado after a short
illness, making her age at time of death 43 years, 4 months and 13 days.
On November 10, 1954 she was united in marriage to William C.(Birth name
Billy Junior) Richison and to this union 2 children were born.
On April 14 1976, she was united in marriage to Russell Lee Foster.
Georgia was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Hadley and one sister
who died in infancy.
She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband, Russell of the home, 1
daughter, Chiquita Jean Goodwin of Scott, Louisiana, 1 son Billy Troy
Richison also of Scott, Louisiana, 1 son-in-law, Gene Goodwin, 4 stepsons,
Billie, Chuck, Scott and Tommy of the home, 3 grandchildren, her mother,
Mrs. Dortha Hadley of Licking, Mo., 2 brothers, Lawrence Hadley of
Springfield, Tennessee, Donald Hadley of Licking, Mo., 2 sisters, Doris
Chamber of Licking, Mo. and Delores Rauscher of Republic, Mo., nieces,
nephews and a host of other relatives and friends and will be sadly missed
by all those who knew her.
In 1950 she was converted and attended the Licking Assembly of God Church
and at the time of her sudden illness she rededicated her life to the Lord
and left the testimony she was ready to go.
Memorial services for Mrs. Foster were held Sunday, October 8, 1978 at 2:00
PM at the Pentecostal Holiness church with Rev. Curtis Yarnell and Rev.
Doyle Garrison officiating.
Pallbearers were Dennis Chambers, Kent Chambers, Curt Chambers, Greg Hadley,
David Hadley, Brad Hadley, and Jeff Hadley. Honorary pallbearers were Don
Grisham, Pete Kierstad, Dean Buckner and Gordon Mattison. Interment was in
Craddock Cemetery under the direction of Fox-Smith-Ferguson Funeral Home of
Licking.
