Obituary - Gregory Donald Collins
Greg D. Collins of Williams died Saturday, September 27, 1997, from
injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. The son of Donald and Barbara
(Pace) Collins, he was born in Lawrence County on February 8, 1960.
Surviving are his mother of Williams; his step-mother, Mary Collins of
Williams; seven sisters: Rita Bell, Teresa Baker, and Susan Deckard, all of
Williams, Nancy Mack of Panama, Sharon Goodpaster of French Lick, Gail
Terrell of Mitchell, and Brenda Lamar of Kale; two brothers, Joe Collins of
French Lick and Steven Gibson of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews. He
was preceded in death by his father.
He was of Protestant faith and was a tool and die maker at Regal-Beloit in
Mitchell for 17 years.
Services for Greg Collins will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 1st, at
The Day & Carter Mortuary, with the Rev. Max Abel and Pastors Kay Pruett and
Tim Voorhies officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 5-9 p.m. Monday, September 29th, and
2-9 p.m. Tuesday, September 30th.
