Deceased Name: TUTT, Harmon Billy
TUTT, Harmon Billy, Age 94, died peacefully in his sleep at home, Friday,
Sept. 7, 2007. Harmon was born in York, AL, and attended Auburn University
where he excelled in football & baseball. He served in the U.S. Navy during
the occupation of Japan, where he met & married his predeceased wife of 53
years, Mary Louise Wise. Harmon & Mary moved to St. Petersburg in 1953 and
started Tutt Importers, a wholesale jewelry business. Harmon loved the dogs,
at the tracks and his own; watching baseball, golf and football; and was a
true Southern Gentleman! Survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn &
Jody Tutt, of St. Petersburg, and Bill Tutt & Donna Handel, of The
Woodlands, TX; two grandchildren, Michael Tutt (Hillary) & Carolyn Willett
(Josh); four great-grand-children, Madelin & Emma Willett, and Reese and Max
Tutt. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.
Family visitation at 1:30 pm, friends at 2 pm and Memorial Service at 2:30
pm Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. M. L.
King Jr. St. N, St. Petersburg.
