Obituary - Hazel Cora (Lark) Carter
Hazel Cora Lark Carter, 86, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord
on Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Brookhaven Manor in Kingsport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie M. Carter; sons, Jerry
Carter and Tony Carter; daughter, Deborah Clark; grandsons, Timmy Starnes
and Charles Carter; granddaughters, Victoria Carter and Amy Carter and her
parents, Emmitt and Victoria (Lane) Lark, which made her the last surviving
member of the Lark family.
Survivors include her two daughters, Jean Kaylor & husband, Tom and Sue
Bishop & husband, Eddie, all of Kingsport; three sons, Wayne Carter & wife,
Jennifer of Church Hill, David Carter & wife, Joann of Kingsport and Ronnie
Carter & wife, Sue of Kingsport; twenty two grandchildren; twenty four great
grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; several nieces, nephews,
cousins and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2011
at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2011 in the
funeral home chapel with Rev. Wrightly Salling, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, TN. Pallbearers
will be her grandsons and great grandsons.
