Henry Buchner, 82, Venice, died Jan. 7, 1996.
He was born Jan. 18, 1913, in Roth, Germany, and came to Venice 31 years ago from Baltimore. He was a self-employed house painter in Venice. He served in the Army.
Survivors include his wife, Norma H.; a daughter, Erika Simon of Englewood; a sister, Erika Zink of Roth, Germany; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be announced. National Cremation Society, Sarasota Chapter, is in charge.
