Obituary - Ida Kate (Eads) Cullop
Ida Kate Eads Cullop, age 81, of Bristol, VA passed away on Friday, March
30, 2012 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born September 23, 1930
to the late Joseph Austin Eads and Stella Nannie Clark Eads. She was
preceded in death by her parents, sisters Naomi Eads Stewart and Mary Lois
Eads Stewart, and by brothers Austin C. Eads, Thurman Eads, Paul R. Eads,
and W.K. Eads. When Ida was a child, her family moved to Washington County,
VA where they worked and farmed. Her life was rich and full and everyone who
knew her received a blessing. Her walk and journey with Jesus started at a
young age and she loved to play the piano and sing praises to His name. With
the love of her life, Fred, she devoted herself to her husband and family
for sixty-two years. She always cherished and enjoyed her brothers, sisters,
church, family, and friends. Her daily life reflected the fruits of the
Spirit; love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
meekness, and temperance. Her goodness was shown through her daily life and
through devotion to her church home, Victory Baptist Church. Thank you,
Lord, for such a life well lived!
