Obituary - James Allen Sproles
CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – James Allen Sproles, 34, died Thursday, August 20,
2009 at Russell County Medical Center, Lebanon, Virginia.
He was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his sister,
Angelina Turner; and one half brother, Roy Wright, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Sproles; one son, Cody Kiser of Lebanon,
Virginia; one step son, James Tompkins of Castlewood, Virginia; one
daughter, Angelina Sproles of Castlewood, Virginia; mother, Anna Sproles of
Castlewood, Virginia; father, Gary Sproles of Abingdon, Virginia; biological
father, Roy Wright of Maryland; two half brothers, Vince Wright of Maryland
and Butch Wright of Maryland; maternal grandmother, Barbara Boatright of
Castlewood, Virginia; maternal aunts, Karen Collins and Debbie Walsh; two
nieces, Adrianna Turner and Jessica Turner.
Funeral Services for James Allen Sproles will be conducted at 11:00 a.m.
Monday, August 24, 2009 in Chapel of Love Mausoleum, Temple Hill Memorial
Park, Castlewood, Virginia with Father Mike Herbert officiating. Interment
will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and
Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery,
leaving at 10:30 a.m., Monday. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Blevins, Jerome
Collins, Mike Russell, Anthony Turner, Darren Turner, and Vince Wright.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Butch Wright, Jessee Turner, and Duke Blevins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, August
23, 2009 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia. Online
