Mrs. Janice Sue Beck “Jan” Haberkamp, 59, lost her fight with ALS Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.

Mrs. Haberkamp was born June 13, 1956, in Rockford, Ill. She was a daughter of the late Roscoe Beck and Dorothy McFarland Beck.

She had a heart for serving others. Jan loved to play darts, cook, and loved to play on the computer. Nothing meant more to Jan than family. She was a member of First Reformed Church in Landis.

Mrs. Haberkamp is survived by her husband of 41 years, Donald Haberkamp; daughters, Christi Stadler and husband Joe of China Grove, and Jennifer Henning and husband Chris of Salisbury; son, Matthew Haberkamp of China Grove; four brothers, Brian Beck, Jim Beck, Kevin Beck and Robert Beck; four sisters, Dana, Earla, Ida and Pat; six grandchildren, Tyler Vaughn, Shawn Vaughn, Nathan Vaughn, Chad Stadler, Ashley Stadler, Michelle Henning, and Megan Henning; and many, many nieces and nephews.

Service: A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, June 12, at First Reformed Church. Rev. David Franks will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, at Lady's Funeral Home.
