BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Jeff J. Taylor, age 81, passed away Aug. 27, 2003, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. and Sara K. Taylor, of Bristol Virginia; and one brother, Scott Taylor.
 
He was a very special person who was loved by all. He worked at the auto repair business he co-owned with his brother, Hiram, in Red Bank, N.J. for 29 years before retiring in 1978 and returning to the Bristol area. He attended Beulah Land Baptist Church.
 
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Inez Taylor; two sons: Tony A. Taylor and his wife, Melba; and David J. Taylor and his wife Melissa, all of Bristol Tennessee; two grandchildren, Andrew and Miranda; one brother, Hiram Taylor and his wife, Marjorie "Skip," of Bristol Virginia; one sister, Eva Cook, of Bristol Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews, including one special nephew, Mickey Lovett.
 
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, Aug. 29, at 2:00 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery, with Rev. Edward Swartz officiating, assisted by Dr. William Houck, and Rev. Scott Watson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Gerry Boccarossa, Dr. Rick Whiles, Ronnie Dombroski, James Milhorn, Burdette "Curly" Sanders and the many friends and family members too numerous to mention. Special thanks to Dr. Gerry Boccarossa, Donna Tiller, RN, the staff of CICU at Bristol Regional Medical Center, and two special helpers to Inez, Eula Morris and Joyce Smith. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Shriner's Children's Hospital and St.
Jude Children's Hospital.
