Obituary - Jerry Eugene Smithers
Jerry Smithers of Bedford, IN, died Sunday, July 30, 2006, at the
Westview Manor Nursing Home in Bedford, IN. Born on October 3, 1941, in
Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of John and Hazel Ruth (Mitchell)
Smithers.
Surviving are one son, David Smithers of Pendleton, IN; two sisters: Mary
Loving of West Palm Beach, FL, and Susie May and husband, Roger, of Bedford,
IN; one brother, John Smithers of Bedford, IN; one niece, Christina Jones
and husband, Eric, of Mitchell, IN; and one nephew, Roger May, Jr., of
Bedford, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jimmy
Smithers.
He was an apartment manager in Indianapolis, IN.
There will be no services. Cremation was chosen with interment at a later
date.
