Bradford, J.M. "Buddy"
MURCHISON - Services for J.M. "Buddy" Bradford, 82, Murchison, are scheduled
for 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Murchison with the Revs.
Cliff Cooper and Tim Samples officiating.
Burial will be in Allen Cemetery under direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral
Home, Athens.
Mr. Bradford died July 26, 2008, in Athens.
He was born Nov. 19, 1925, in San Antonio to the late Dr. Jonathan Murray
and Myrtle Agnes Gwinn Bradford. He graduated from Baylor University in 1957
and was a petroleum engineer with Lone Star Gas/Enserch Exploration Inc. for
35 years. He lived in Murchison for 23 years and was a member of First
Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Bradford, Murchison; son, Jon Bradford,
Porterville, Calif.; daughters, Toni Bradford, Heath, and Mary Bradford,
Emory; sister, Betty Egbert, Austin; three grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
