Kay Ann Kinneman March 5, 1939 ~ February 1, 2013

Age 73, of Hager City, WI, died Friday, February 1, 2013 at United Hospital, St. Paul, MN. of an aortic aneurysm.

Kay was born on March 5, 1939 in Red Wing, MN, the daughter of Carl “Buck” and Charlotte (Graham) Buckner.  She was a graduate of Ellsworth High School.  Kay married Dale Beach on November 2, 1957.  Three daughters and a son were born to this union, Shelly, Barb, Penny and Brian.  Dale died in 1973.  On July 9, 1983 Kay married Rodney Kinneman at St. John’s UCC, Prescott, WI.

Kay was a well known seamstress in the area for over 50 years. She enjoyed making quilts for family weddings, graduations and births, along with donating many to church events.  She also enjoyed tending her flowers, especially the large Hibiscuses that attracted the many Hummingbirds she had. She treasured bowling on Monday nights on a team with her daughters and special friends. Kay enjoyed playing Euchre and fishing with Rodney on the many lakes of Wisconsin. She found great joy in attending her grandkids many activities.  She was an active member of St. John’s UCC, Prescott.

Kay was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale, her parents, and her sister Nancy Buckner.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years Rodney Kinneman, Hager City, WI.
Four children:  Shelly (Keith) Harvey, Elmwood, WI; Barb (Greg) Kirchner, Ellsworth, WI; Penny (Fredrick) Smith, Springbrook, WI; Brian (Elizabeth) Beach, Ellsworth, WI.
Four step-children:  Dawn Clemmens, David (Kelly) Kinneman, Steven Kinneman, Scott (Cheryl) Kinneman.
Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Two sisters:  Betty (Gerald) Gutting and Brenda Bauer.
Kay is further survived by nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
