Kyle Dean Canter, 65, Bristol, Va. Return to top BRISTOL, Va. - Kyle Dean Canter, 65, Bristol, Va., passed away on Tuesday (Dec. 19, 2006) at his residence.
 
He was born in Washington County, Va., a son to the late Charlie and Mary Townsend Canter, and was a lifelong resident of the area. Mr. Canter was a farmer and attended Sinking Springs United Methodist Church.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Canter.
 
Survivors include brothers, Burl M. Canter, Coy Canter, Earl F. Canter; children, Bobby Sullivan, Phyllis Honaker, Mary Worley, James Sullivan, Paulette Moore, and Donna Fuller; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; also surviving is a very special friend, Peggy Love.
 
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 6 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jack Stevens officiating.
 
The family will receive friends on Friday following the service and other times at 916 Reedy Creek Road, Bristol, Va.
 
Committal services will be on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Mendota.
