Home

Larry Fleenor died Dec. 22, 2012, at the University of Utah Hospital. Larry was born in Bakersfield, Calif., on Dec. 23, 1939, to Eugene and Esther (Summers) Fleenor.

Larry married Margaret Bruna in California and they became the parents of two children. Shelly and Larry. They moved to Utah in the 1970s and to Moab in the 1980s.

Larry owned and operated the Printing Place and The Ad-Vertiser for many years. After he retired, Larry continued to do graphic arts for the paper.

Larry and Paula Ludlum were married in Moab in 2007.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Margaret.

Larry is survived by his wife, Paula; his children, Shelly (Skip) Francone, Larry (Debi) Fleenor, stepson, Sam Ludlum; sister, Esther Williams; and brother, Joe Askey. Larry is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Larry will be remembered for his never-ending hot-rod building projects, his sense of humor, ever present smile and boundless kindness.

An informal gathering will be held in the spring. This is due to the long distances to travel for many friends and families, not to mention that Larry really disliked winter. We hope you will all attend as we remember Larry.
