Obituary - Laura Alice (Andrews) Chumley
Mrs. Alice Campbell Chumley was born December 29th, 1862 at Valley Maw
Springs, Tennessee. She was married to Sam Chumley, March 11, 1882. To this
union was born 8 children, all survive but one daughter, Alice Bealer, who
departed this life in infancy. Those who survive are her husband, 5 sons,
Algar, Odie, Malcom, Kinder, Lomy and two daughters, Leola and Ulemer and 13
grandchildren, all survive except one grand daughter.
Mrs. Chumley united the Christian church at McRae, November 6, 1897 and
lived a Christian life until her death. She departed this life April 30,
1934.
Funeral services were held near McRae, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. E. C. Wood.,
Officiating.
