ROBERTS, Frances - Age 87 of Byron, passed away after a brief illness on June 3, 2016.

Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 4PM - 8PM Monday and 10 AM until time of service on Tuesday. Son-in-law, Dr. Scott Strader officiating.

Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.

Frances was born January 14, 1929 in Flint, the daughter of Ralph C. and Irene D. Webster. Frances retired after working for Haines Dental Laboratory, Flint. She had resided in the Byron area for the past 23 years, originally from Lennon. Frances's love of horses was known by all and she loved to ride with friends from the Shiawassee Trail Riders Association and spending evenings with friends at these events. She was also a member of the Pink Pokadots Riding Drill Team for many years.

Surviving are: children, Laurence Roberts and husband Scott Strader of St. Petersburg, FL, Keith Roberts of Clio, Ralph Roberts of Grand Blanc, and Laurie and husband Craig Woolpert of Byron; and Son-in-law, Rodney Perkins of Fenton; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Ellis W. Roberts and son, Richard D. Roberts.
