Obituary - Laura Mae (Crain) Geier
Laura Mae Perkins Geier, 76, of Russellville,Arkansas went home to be with
the Lord on Sunday, November 13, 2005 at her home. The daughter of John and
Jeanette (Blackard) Crain, she was born May 17, 1929 in London, Arkansas.
She married Don Geier on May 14, 1993 at Crow Mountain Baptist Church. She
was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church where she played the organ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband Donald
Perkins.
She is survived by her husband, Don Geier of Russellville, Arkansas; one
daughter, Teresa G. Jones and husband Kennith of Russellville, Arkansas; one
granddaughter, Melissa Reynolds and husband Jim of Greenwood, Arkansas; four
step children, Don Geier, Jr. of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Randy Geier of
Girard, Kansas, Christie Pitts of Dardanelle, Arkansas, and Linda Eadens of
Louisiana; three sisters Illa Jones and husband Jimmy of Bismark,Arkansas,
Mattie Barton and husband Jerry of Knoxville, Arkansas, and Pattie McDermott
and husband Gene of Malvern, Arkansas.
Funeral will be at 2:00 P.M Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Humphrey Chapel
with Rev. Al Sparkman and Rev. Larry Pettus officiating. Burial will be at
Rest Haven Memorial Park at Russellville under the direction of Humphrey
Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 P.M. Tuesday at the
