LaWanda Marshall
(April 9, 1930 - December 9, 2013)
Church Services for LaWanda Ray Marshall, 83, of Paducah will be held at
1:00 p.m. Thursday December 12, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Paducah
with Brother David Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of
Memories under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home of Paducah. Visitation
will be held Wednesday December 11, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Zapata
Funeral Home of Paducah.
LaWanda passed from this life on December 9, 2013 in Paducah.
LaWanda was born on April 9, 1930 in Paducah, Texas to William Wesley Moss and Lillie Brewster Moss. She married Albert Marshall on August 3, 1975. From this union they had four children, Shanna, Carla, Jana and Linda. She retired from the FSA and ASCS office after 32 years. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church.
LaWanda is survived by her children: Shanna Porter and husband Vance of Lubbock, Carla McCain and husband Don of Roanoke, Tx., Jana Malmburg and husband George of Spring Branch, Tx., and Laura Polchlopek and husband Richard of San Antonio, Tx. Eight grandchildren and Eleven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents William and Lillie Moss, her husband Albert Marshall, and her brother Charles Wesley Moss.
