GIBBS, Leburn "Lee" age 83, of Riverside, OH, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011.

He was born on July 24, 1927, in Wolfe County, Kentucky, the son of Hobert and Stella (Edwards) Gibbs, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Joyce (Lanningham) Gibbs and four brothers, his twin, Seburn, Bobby, Walter and Clarence Gibbs.

Leburn was the loving father of Pamela and husband, John Mondini, of Riverside, OH and Kimberly and husband, Jim Vance, of Columbus, OH and the devoted grandfather of Allie and Lee Mondini. He is also survived by his sister, Irene Wells; two special sisters-in-law, Jean Gibbs and Barbara Poore; special friends, Paul and Sue Salmon; his constant canine companion, Lucy and numerous nieces, nephews and friends at Dale Hollow.

Leburn was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the 101st Airborne Division, during the Korean Conflict. Funeral services will be 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road with Pastor Matt Scholl officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the services on Wednesday. Graveside services and interment will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Lee Memorial Gardens in Pennington Gap, VA with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420 in memory of Leburn.
