DECATUR — Lilly Mae Reed , 71, of Decatur, IL, died 8:10 P.M., Sunday, November 2, 2008, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 7, 2008, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 7 P.M., Thursday, November 6, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Second Church of God.
Lilly was born September 21, 1937, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Irvin and Mary (Colburn) Reed . She was a member of Second Church of God and loved volunteering for the church. Lilly worked as Clerk at the Circuit Clerk office from 1977 to 2005, retiring from this position. She previously worked as Office Manager at Perry T.V. Lilly loved to collect dolls and antiques.
She is survived by her sister Barbara Perry and husband Marvin of
Decatur; brother Donald Reed and companion Shirley Moeller of Decatur;
brother Nathan Reed and wife Trudy of Decatur; sisters-in-law Eula Reed of
Decatur, Betty Reed of Decatur, Bev Reed of Springfield; many nieces and
nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews; and many
wonderful brothers and sisters of the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
