Bedford – Lucille Pearl Lake, 90, of 2453 Maul Ridge Road, Bedford, died at 5:46 am on Monday, March 20, 2006 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center.

Born June 12, 1915 in Shoals, she was the daughter of Claude and Nellie (Blake) Parker. She married Opal Lake on December 18, 1933 and he preceded her in death in 1991. She was a mother, homemaker and a member of the Fayetteville Baptist Church.

Survivors include eight daughters, Marilyn Joyce Baker of Springville, Evelyn Morgan and her husband, Gene of Bloomington, Ruby Swartz and her husband, Kenneth of Terre Haute, Pamela Quisenberry of Bloomington, Katherine Terry and her husband, Robert of Williams, Karen Sue Speer and her husband, Joe of Bedford, Theresa McGuire and her husband, Jim of Bedford, Paula Ford and her husband, Ryan of Brookston, IN; two sons, Robert Lake of Bedford and Jerry Lake and his wife, Avonelle of Mitchell; thirty-seven grandchildren; sixty-one great grandchildren; one sister, Doris Martin of Bedford; four great great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Debbie and Kay Lake; one son, Eugene Lake; one son-in-law, Gerald Baker; four brothers, Kenneth, Cecil, Claude and Ray Parker; one sister, Helen Hazel and three great grandchildren.


Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 23rd at the Fayettevelle Baptist Church with Pastor Kenneth Walden officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 22nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Thursday at the Fayetteville Baptist Church.
