Obituary - Marilyn Louise (Lewis) Chauncy

Marilyn Louise Burton Chauncy, a former Snyder resident died Tuesday, August
24 in a Fort Worth care center.
Graveside service for Mrs. Chauncy is set for 10AM Saturday in Hillside
Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jim Drake officiating and arrangements are
under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Born April 17, 1942 in Harlingen, she graduated from Snyder High School in
1959 and lived in Snyder most of her life. She married William Glenn Chauncy
on July 19, 1991.
A retired secretary, she worked for State Farm Insurance, at the Roy
McCloskey and Joe LaRoux offices in Snyder for a number of years. She moved
to Brownwood in January 2004, where she worked for Larry Holder State Farm
Insurance and later moved to Fort Worth.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 10 years, Glenn Chauncy; her
mother, Minnie Beall; a brother, Norman Lewis; a sister, Nancy Barnett; and
a nephew, Cory Brown.
She is survived by two sons and daughters in law; Kelly and Jessica Burton
of Granbury: Guy and Carol Kerrick of Fort Worth. Daughters; Kim Price of
Early; Glenda Anderson of Hermleigh; Two Nephews; Terry Brown of Brownwood;
Johnny Brown and wife Julie also of Brownwood. Two Nieces; Michelle Mosman
and husband Gary of Brownwood; Laurie Sherman of Conroe. Brother in law;
A.L. "Shorty" Barnett of Brownwood and sister in law Linda Roemisch and
husband Jimmy of Hermleigh.
She is also Survived by nine grandchildren; Aaron Burton and wife Dana of
Cedar Park; Trevor and Tyler Kerrick of Lubbock, Wafe Kerrick of Eugene,
Oregon; Ashley Price of San Angelo; Robby Anderson and wife Alicia of
Hermleigh; Melissa Martinez and husband Felix of Snyder; Amy Benitez and
husband Mickey of Snyder; and Laurie Botts and husband Bubba of Hermleigh.
She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; Blake and Haley Burton of
Cedar Park; Felix and Alex Martinez of Snyder; DJ and Baeleigh Botts of
Hermleigh and Kendall, Ryleigh, and Mc Kenleigh Benitez of Snyder.
Great nieces and nephews; Haley Brown of Brownwood, Landon Brown of Coleman,
Tanner Brown of San Angelo, Todd Mosman of Brownwood, Joey and Stacy Sherman
of Conroe.
