Obituary - Mary (Coffman) Eads

Mary Coffman Eads, Bristol, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alice Little Coffman, husband, Frank Eads in 1964, a daughter Ella Fay Kegley in 2001, special Sons-in-Law, Mack Kegley and Edward Eades, six brothers, Zhinga, Marvin (Bob), Jimmy, Kyle, Ervin and Johnny.

Mary was a faithful Christian who always put God first in her life. She was known to all her family and many friends as "Granny". Mary's hobbies were gardening and cooking. She always had a beautiful smile and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

Children: Marie DeSordi and husband David, Nan Eades, Charles Eads and wife Faye, Ervin Eads and wife Sue, Aileen Sells, Dallas Eads, and Kyle Eads
Brother: Hiram Coffman
Sister-In-Laws: Virginia and Evelyn CoffmanTwelve Grandchildren
Eighteen Great Grandchildren
Five Great-Great Grandchildren
Many nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 pm on Friday, May 11, 2012 from the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Baird and Rev. Gary Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:15 prior to the funeral service.

The committal service and burial will be at 11:00 am on Saturday at Emory UMC Cemetery in Fall Branch, TN.

Pallbearers will be Tom Sells, Phillip Eades, Mike Kegley, Brad Kegley, Matt Kegley, Tim Maxfield, Kevin Wright, and Carl Phipps.

A special "thank you" is extended from the family to Wellmont Hospice House and especially to Nurse Freyda Spencer for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Mrs. Eads during her illness.
