Obituary - Nancy Jane (Cook) Reed
Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Jane Reed, wife of George Reed, who died
in her home at Bolivia Sunday afternoon, Aug 23, 1925 at 1:30 of a
complication of diseases and infirmities of old age, were held in the
Christian church at Bolivia at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, Rev. Wiley Andis
officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Auburn cemetery. Miss Nancy Jane Cook was
born in Indiana, Jan 2, 1851, when a young woman she was married to George
Reed. To this union were born three sons. Surviving are the husband and the
following sons: Irvin of Menard and John Reed of Decatur and Raymond; also
one step son, Arthur Reed of Bolivia and one son, George Cook of Mt. Auburn
survive; also two sisters, Mrs. Mary Dagger of Mechanicsburg and Mrs.
Melinda Moore of Mt. Auburn and one brother, James Cook.
