Nancy L. Andis Kinser, 81, of Findlay, died at 1:40 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at The Meadows, Ottawa.

She was born in Roda, a coal community in the hills of Virginia. Her great-great-grandmother was a Cornett. The Cornett married a Halcomb, the Halcomb married a Mullins, the Mullins married an Andis and the Andis married a Kinser. Her father was George Boss Andis and her mother was Vesta (Halcomb) Andis. In 1947, Nancy married Jack R. Kinser and he preceded her in death April 12, 1996. She then married Henry Hollingsworth and he preceded her in death in 2009.

Nancy is survived by two sons, Jack Andis (Cindy) Kinser of Republic and Ronald Duran (Dorothy) Kinser of Leipsic; nine grandchildren, Patricia, Danielle, Courtney, Ron, Amber, John, Gabby, Erica and Luke; seven great-grandchildren, Nicole, Kara, Kelsey, Tre, Jasmine, Lilly and Althea; one great-great-granddaughter, Vanessa; daughter-in-law, Nancy Kinser of Findlay; and sister-in-law, Betty Andis of Kingsport, Tenn

She also was preceded in death by three sons, Gary Russell Kinser, Lynn Eric Kinser and Jeffery Kent Kinser; a daughter, Sheila Althea Kinser; 11 brothers, Earl, Sherman, Robert, Ted and Kenneth "Dut" Andis and Ransom, Larkin, Albert, Mack, Richard and Henry Mullins; and two half sisters, Ruby King and Effie Waddell.

Nancy worked at RCA, The Darkhorse Restaurant, Lee's Chicken and Whirlpool. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Bloomdale, and Camptown Church, Jonesville, Va. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and attending flea markets as a vendor.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay.

Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Ridenour officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.
