Obituary - Nellie M (Ware) Starr
Nelle Ware Starr
Died: 06-22-2005 Nelle Ware Starr, 85, of Volunteer Street, died Wednesday
morning at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 8, 1920, in the Union Temple community, a daughter of the
late Cornelius and Maggie Ware.
She was a retired bookkeeper.
Mrs. Starr was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, the Susanna
Wesley Sunday School Class, and the Bobbie Pierce Study Group.
She was the widow of Lee Starr, who died in 1981.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Jerry and Melody Starr of
Greeneville; and a daughter and son-in-law: Judy and Robert Hall of
Marietta, Ga.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Billie Balding.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Rose Hill Funeral
Home. The funeral service will be held at 2 o?clock this afternoon in the
funeral home chapel. The Rev. Julian Walton will officiate.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Jones, Johnny Thacker, Dale Perry, Raymond Perry,
Chris Green, and Nathaniel Green.
