Obituary for Norman Lee "Tack" Nail

Norman Lee "Tack" Nail, 74, of Bloomfield passed away Tuesday August 22, 2017 at his residence.

Born December 14, 1942 in Elnora, Indiana the son of Eli Thomas and Irene (Wilson) Nail.

He was retired from Yellow Freight as a truck driver, he was an U.S. Army and U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Worthington American Legion, a life member of the Worthington VFW, he loved his family, crossword puzzles and the outdoors, especially sitting by the fire pit.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Loretta June Nail of Bloomfield, his children, Kathy Stone of New Mexico; Becky McKinney of Bloomfield, Dennis Nail of Bloomfield and Michelle Leitzman of Bloomfield, he has twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, one brother, Bobby Nail of Linton and one sister, Wanda (Larry) Woodruff of Odon.

Norman was preceded in death by two sisters, Ellen Wright, Deloris "Punk" Lynn, two brothers, Melvin Nail, infant Bruce Nail and his parents.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday August 25, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Graveside service will be held on Friday September 1, 2017 at 1 P.M. at Calvertville Cemetery with Pastor Craig Moore officiating.
