Obituary - Regenia Allen (Worley) Cook

BRISTOL, Va. – Regenia Allen Worley Cook, age 69, of 14420 Peaceful Lane, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, at her residence.
Regenia was born Feb. 18, 1939, in Washington County, Va., to the late Willie and Margaret Townsend Worley, and was raised in the Pine Hill community. She was a lifelong member of the Pine Hill Union Church and current member of Life Holiness and the Crafty Red Hat Society, Ruby Red Hatters, Virginia Notary, a member of the Southern Gospel Bluegrass Group and recently ordained as a minister.
Survivors include daughter, Kyetia Watson; son, Charles Cook and Janeen; grandchildren, Kayleigh Cook, Thomas Dula and wife Terrin and Brandi Dula; great-grandchildren, Haylee Dula, Christian Dula and Kyla Dula; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Kay Quarry; aunts, Dora Miller, Lula Church and Callie Rowe; and uncle, Charlie Townsend. Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard and Jack Worley.
Funeral services for Regenia Allen Worley Cook will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. Feb. 26, 2007, in the Weaver Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Bob Thompson and Rev. Lee Lambert officiating. Burial will follow Monday at Pine Hill Cemetery in Washington County, Va. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
