Obituary - Reta (Davison) Botts

Reta Nunley Botts, age 90, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Wellmont Hospice House, Bristol, Tennessee.
 
She was born May 17, 1922, in Washington County, Virginia, a daughter of the late William and Carrie Hobbs Davison. She lived her entire life in Washington County and was a housewife. She was a member of Walnut Springs Christian Church and Abingdon Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Nunley; her second husband Elmer Botts; her brother, Roby Davison; her son-in-law, Kenneth Jones; and a granddaughter, Sharon Jones Sutherland.
 
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Jones Taylor of Bristol, VA; one son Freddie Paul Nunley (Jan) of Bristol, VA; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 9, 2012, at 7:30 P.M. at the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Austin Cook and Rev. Kenneth Widner officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until time of the service. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at the Valley View Baptist Church Cemetery on Rich Valley Road, Abingdon. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery for the service. The family would like to extend special thanks to Wellmont Hospice House for their care and concern.
