RECENT DEATHS
KEGIN – Funeral services for Robert Kegin, five years old, were to be held
Thursday afternoon at the Free Methodist church in Covington, with Rev. F.J.
Johnson officiating. Burial was to be in the Covington cemetery, with
the Henninger Funeral Home in charge.
The child died Tuesday night in a city hospital. A tonsil operation a
few days ago, followed by development of tetanus from a nail wound was the
cause of death, physicians said. Two days in the iron lung failed to
rally his strength.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Allen Kegin; two brothers
and his grandparents, Mrs. M. Kegin, Covington; Mr. and Mrs. Everett
Herrian, of Lela.
