Robert P. "Bob" Williams, 84, passed away Dec. 2, 2012.

He was born Nov. 12, 1928, in Akron to Callie Calbert and Eulah Belle (Staats) Williams, and was a life resident of Doylestown. Bob retired from Pat Young Automotive, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Air Reserve. He was a member of Doylestown United Methodist Church, Doylestown Lions Club, and a former member of Chippewa Board of Education. Bob was an avid fan of Ohio State and Chippewa sports.

Preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bill Williams; and sisters, Natalie Usher, Nadine Falb, Roberta Bigler and Ethel Metz.

Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jane; daughters Debbie (Rod) Thompson of Orrville, Susan (Ty) Kovach of Medina, Karen Williams of Jackson Township and Judi (Tim) McNutt of Wadsworth; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joe (Sue) Williams of Springfield Township.

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. at Doylestown United Methodist Church, 153 Church St., Doylestown, with pastor Dale Warrick officiating. Private inurnment will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
