Obituary - Rosa Etta (Woltz) Langley
Wife of Nathan A Langley, married July 18, 1900 Sangamon County, Illinois
Mrs.Rosa E.Langley, 82, of 983 W.Cerro Gordo st. died at 6 am yesterday in
the Osbourne Nursing home,1054 E. Cleveland Ave. She had been in failing
health about three years.
She was born July 29, 1873, in Shelby county, a daughter
of Thomas and Rebecca Blosser Woltz. Her husband, Nathan died in 1945. A
resident here since 1915 she had lived all o her life in Macon and Shelby
counties.
She leaves two sons,Thomas,Tower Hill and Glenn,Phenix City,Ala., two
daughters,Mrs.Flossie Galiher,Sorento and Mrs.Delores Rios, Chicago five
grandchildren,eight great grandchildren and one brother, Charles
Woltz,Moweaqua. Two daughters, two sisters and one brother preceded her in
death.
The body is in the J. J.Moran &Sons funeral home where
friends may call after 7 pm today. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
