Obituary - Roscoe James Pavey II

BEDFORD - Roscoe James "Jim" Pavey, 74, of Bedford died at 8:30 a.m. on
Wednesday at Indiana University Health Bedford.
Born June 8, 1940, in Bedford, he was the son of Roscoe James and Eula
(Hardwick) Pavey. He married Elva Walls on Oct. 24, 1969, and she survives.
Survivors include his wife, Elva, of Bedford; two daughters, Jamie Herzner
and husband David of Oolitic and Tammy York and husband Billy of Bedford;
grandchildren, Debbie Kreuzman and husband Chris, Emily Livingston and
husband Forrest, and James and Jeremy York; two brothers, Carl Pavey and
Donald Pavey; and a sister, Malinda Adcock.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Heather Rose York;
and a brother, Wesley Pavey.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Patton Hill Cemetery with
the Rev. Jay Bennett officiating. Burial will follow.
Visitation will be from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the Day & Carter
Mortuary.
