Obituary - Roy Proctor

Roy Proctor, age 95, passed away April 27, 2007, at home.

He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was in the Navy and served in WWII in the South Pacific.

He was a sales manager in real estate and insurance in San Antonio, where he married Maree Walls Hutcheson in 1953, where her son Eldridge Hutcheson (Skip) was 9 years old.

Roy founded and directed Science Research Institute in New Orleans, researching and teaching internationally in the fields of parapsychology, metaphysics and behavioral kinesiology. He taught positive thinking, which he practiced every day. Roy and Maree returned to San Antonio in 1984, where they became active members of Colonial Hills United Methodist Church. Roy served on the organizational committee that established the on-going Colonial Classics for seniors.

A memorial service will be held April 30, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Hills United Methodist Church. Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
