Sylvia M. Archer, 85, of Reno, Ohio, passed away on Saturday (March 17,
2012) at Heartland of Marietta.
She was born in Superior, West Virginia, to Ernest and Violet Turner Ulisse
on Nov. 5, 1926, and grew up in Caples, West Virginia. Sylvia was a
homemaker and had also worked at Allied Chemical, Hankins Container and
Bowling Green State University throughout her career.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil; and her daughters, Kimberly of Upper
Arlington, Ohio, and Pamela of Richland, Washington. She is also survived by
her sister, Patricia (Tom) of Woodbridge, Va.; brother-in-law, Donald (Nan)
of Sistersville, W.Va.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews; and other
relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
