Thomas Cranston  Bellamy , 55, 243 Clearview St., died Thursday (Jan. 6, 2000) at Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Oak Ridge, he spent his childhood in Kingsport. He had been a resident of Gray for 36 years. He was the son of Mabel Morrison  Bellamy , Gray and the late Earl C.  Bellamy .

Mr.  Bellamy  was a 1962 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and attended East Tennessee State University. He was the general manager and vice president of Keller Glasco Inc. of Johnson City and former vice president of E.C.  Bellamy  and Company Railroad of Kingsport. He was a member of the Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church.                

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Margaret Church  Bellamy , of the home; one daughter, Lee  Bellamy , Johnson City; one son and daughter-in-law, Earl Thomas and Amanda D.  Bellamy , Gray. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Morris-Baker Funeral Home, Johnson City. Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. today in the South Chapel with Dr. Gene Lasley officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Monte Vista Burial Park. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. The family requests that memorials be given to the American Diabetes Association, 6906 Kingston Pike, Suite 201, Knoxville, Tenn. 37919 or the Christine LaGuardia Cancer Center at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tenn. 37662. Active pallbearers will be James L. Moses Jr., Tommy Debord, Bill Giacometti, Johnny Markland, Danny Simerly, Eddie Palmer, Neil Johnson and David Butler. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Skeens, Travis Keller, Joe Jackson and Tim Street.
