Trula (Toot) Kaylor Barne
tte, 57, of 249 Jarrett Drive, Bluff City went to be with the Lord, June 25, 2007 at her residence. She was a member of Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church and drove the school bus for a number of years. A native of Bluff City, TN she was a daughter of the late Verl Kaylor and Ruby Kaylor of Bluff City. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Barnette. Survivors include her mother, Ruby Kaylor of Bluff City; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Christie Barnette of Bluff City; one sister, Barbara Kaylor Bolyard; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Verl and Sherry Kaylor and Gary and Sandra Kaylor, all of Bluff City and two special grandchildren, Gracie Marie and Matthew Thomas K. Barnette of Bluff City. Several nieces and nephews also survive. 

The funeral service for Mrs. Barnette will be at 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Tetrick Funeral Home - Bluff City Chapel with Dr. Jerry Lowrie officiating. Music will be under the direction of Stanley Stevens and the Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church Quartet. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday prior to the service in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home and anytime at the home of Gary Kaylor. The graveside service and interment will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 28th at Chinquapin Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Johnny Jenkins, Allen Perry, Bobby Richards, Ed McDuffie, Jody Jamerson, Scott Barnette, Michael Lyon and Wade Lockner. Honorary pallbearers will be Nephews, Lee & Joey Kaylor, Tom White, Don Friesland, Luther Rouse, Geraldine Jenkins and Mac Lyons. Pallbearers, family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:55 A.M. Wednesday. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 1727 Chinquapin Grove Road, Bluff City, TN 37618. Tetrick Funeral Home of Bluff City Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. 423-538-7131
