Frank Chesser, age 65 of Rogersville, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
He retired from the Florida Highway Patrol. Mr. Chesser was a member of Henard?s Chapel Baptist Church, where he served as past Brotherhood Director. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Franklin and Othie Sullivan Chesser; sister-in-law, Maxine Davis Fulford.
 
Survivors include his wife, Chris Turnmire Chesser of the home; three sons, Jeffrey Epps Chesser and wife, Lisa of Millington, TN, Frankie Chesser and wife Tracey and Michael Chesser and wife, Tracy all of Rogersville; daughter, Tammy Brinkman of Williston, FL; eight grandchildren, Austin, Whitney, Eryn, Emma, Abby, Sarah, Ethan and Chloe; sister, Barbara Pendray and husband, James of Williston, FL; brother, William Chesser and wife, Alice of Williston, FL; special brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Gaye Turnmire of Rogersville; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
 
Calling hours will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2006 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville.
 
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2006 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Richard Cassidy and Rev. Bobby Joe Hancock officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of Henard's Chapel Baptist Church, 145 Henard's Chapel Rd., Rogersville, TN 37857.
