Obituary - Wanda (Lawson) McCroskey

LIBERTY Mrs. Wanda Lawson McCroskey, 46, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, at the Beacon Place after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and friends. 
Amemorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, with Rev. Ward Burch officiating. 

Wanda was born on May 10, 1956 in Bethel. She was employed at Avery Dennison, Inc. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Olaf F. "Mack" McCroskey. 

Survivors include her father, Hugh Lawson and his wife, Arlene, of Greensboro; mother, Mary Baldwin Combs and her husband, Fonza of Apex; sister, Dawn DeVane of Greensboro; brother, Wayne Lawson and his wife, Roxanne of Pittsboro; sister-in-law, Phyllis McCroskey Haithcock and her husband, Buddy, of Greensboro; brother-in-law, Mike McCroskey; mother-in-law, Inez McCroskey; nieces, Ashley Lawson, Brandi Fields, Lauren Haithcock; nephews, Alan Lawson and Christopher Haithcock.
