William C. Herndon, Sr.
SEBASTIAN, FL
William (Bill) C. Herndon, Sr., 84, formerly of Odon, Indiana,
passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 6, 2011. He is survived by his
wife of 66 years, Joyce, son Rick and wife Frances, Daughter-in-law
Judy Herndon, Grandchildren Cristina Morgan of Bartlesville, OK,
Jeff Herndon, Heather Herndon of Sebastian, FL and Jennifer Brooks,
all of Sebastian, FL, and 12 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased
by his parents, Eula Mae Ketchem and Victor H. Herndon, and one son
William C. Herndon, Jr. Bill was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was a
member of the Masonic Lodge and The Shriners. He was a long time
member of the Viera Christian Church in Viera, Florida.
Services will be held at the home of Bill and Joyce in Sebastian,
Florida, March 18th at 2 p.m. Friends are invited to attend. A
graveside service will be performed in Odon, Indiana. Contributions
in his honor may be made to the American Cancer Society of Indian
River County.
